Hi! I'm Justin Schaeffer! I live in in an eastside neighborhood of Atlanta, GA with my wife and 3 boys. I have a B.F.A. in oil painting and got my start in design in the architectural sign industry working on projects for Gameworks, Pottery Barn, Disney, Universal Studios, Larkspur Hotels, and many more. Since then I've used my aesthetic and technical skills to design logos, layout materials for web, email, & print, design & project manage sign fabrication & installation, start and manage websites, and start and manage social media profiles for individuals, companies, and nonprofits.
If you've perused my portfolio you may have noticed the design work I've done to promote Kirkwood Cares. Kirkwood Cares is a committee of our neighborhood organization that I started and now run that provides critical repairs to our low-income neighbors' homes. With the help of my partner Rob, we've raised tens of thousands of dollars from individuals and businesses to replace roofs, run new water and sewer lines, remove downed trees, fix soffits and siding, replace water heaters, provide whole house re-wires, and repair and replace furnaces and AC units for over 20 homes in our neighborhood! This important work allows our low-income neighbors (mostly the elderly) to age in place and to remain safe and comfortable in their homes!
